Help

Members

The Members page lists everyone in your organisation. You can edit a person’s details, make them an admin or a member, and block or remove them.

To open it, choose Organisation Settings from the menu, then select Members.

Find someone

  1. Type part of their name or email address in the search box.
  2. Select Search.

The list shows only the people who match. Select Clear to see everyone again.

The list shows 50 people at a time. Use Previous and Next to see more.

See someone’s details

Select a person’s row to open it. Select it again to close it.

Each row shows their name and email address. Next to them you may see:

  • Blocked: they can’t open the organisation.
  • Not signed in yet: they haven’t accepted their invitation.
  • Admin or Member: their role.

Edit someone’s details

You can edit the details of someone who hasn’t signed in yet. Once they’ve signed in, their name and phone number are theirs: they change them on their Profile page, and their row says so.

  1. Select the person’s row to open it.
  2. Under Edit profile, change their First name, Last name, Middle name, Phone or Display name.
  3. Select Save.

You see the message “Saved.” and the row shows the new name.

Change someone’s role

  1. Select the person’s row to open it.
  2. Under Membership, choose Admin or Member from Role.
  3. Select Save.

You see the message “Saved.” and the row shows the new role.

Admins can manage the organisation’s members, invitations and settings. Members use the organisation but can’t manage it.

Block someone

Blocking stops a person opening your organisation. Nothing of theirs is deleted, and you can unblock them at any time.

  1. Select the person’s row to open it.
  2. Select Block.
  3. Select Block again to confirm.

The row shows Blocked.

To let them back in, open their row and select Unblock.

Remove someone

Removing a person takes away their access to your organisation. Any invitation they haven’t used stops working. Their account stays, for any other organisation they belong to.

  1. Select the person’s row to open it.
  2. Select Remove.
  3. Select Remove again to confirm.

You see the message “name removed.” and their row disappears.

Change someone’s email address

Only a Global Admin can do this, for someone who can’t get into their old address and can’t change it themselves. Make sure it’s really them first, outside this site.

  1. Select the person’s row to open it.
  2. Enter their new address in New email address.
  3. Select Change Email Address.
  4. Select Change Email Address again to confirm.

They’re signed out everywhere, and sign in with the new address from now on. Both addresses get an email saying so.

Turn off someone’s two-step verification

Only a Global Admin can do this, for someone who has lost both their authenticator app and their recovery codes. Make sure it’s really them first, outside this site.

  1. Select the person’s row to open it. It says “Two-step verification is on.”
  2. Select Turn Off Two-Step Verification.
  3. Select Turn Off to confirm.

You see “Two-step verification is off for name.” They’re emailed, and they can turn it on again on their Account page.

Invite someone

Select Invite Someone at the bottom of the page. This opens the Invitations page. See Invitations.

Who can do this

Organisation admins can use this page for their own organisation. A Global Admin can use it after opening the organisation with Open as Admin.

You can’t block or remove yourself, so your own row has no Block or Remove buttons.

If something goes wrong

“The organisation needs at least one admin who is not blocked. Make someone else an admin first.” You tried to make the last admin a member, or to block or remove them. Make someone else an admin first, then try again.

“You cannot remove yourself. Ask another admin.” Ask another admin of your organisation to remove you.

“That person is no longer here. Reload the page.” Someone else removed them while you had the page open. Reload the page.

“Only this organisation’s admins can do that.” You’re not an admin of this organisation. Ask one of its admins to make the change.

“That did not save. Please try again.” Something went wrong while saving. Try again. If it keeps happening, contact support.

Someone shows Not signed in yet They haven’t accepted their invitation. You can send it again from the Invitations page.
